About the Donks League

The Donks League is an exclusive private poker league on the free poker site Replay Poker.

Mission

A common problem with free poker sites is that the competition in most public tournaments is quite weak. It is quite easy to make profits in these tournaments, but there are also disadvantages:

  • Playing only against weak opposition does not help you to improve your game against stronger opponents.
  • Absurd plays by weak opponents can make the game unenjoyable.

The Donks League was founded to address these issues.

Our mission is to bring together the best tournament players and host the toughest multi-table tournaments on Replay Poker.

To achieve our goal and ensure the highest quality of play in our league, we mainly use two instruments:

  • Selective admission criteria
  • A tiered league structure
Admission criteria

To be eligible to join our league, a player must

  • have a rank of 3000 or better on Replay Poker at the time of induction and
  • be endorsed by an existing member of the league.

While these criteria are certainly not perfect, they still largely ensure a baseline skill level of our membership.

League structure

Our tiered league structure is a key feature that distinguishes us from other private leagues. We are currently operating two tiers:

  • Golden Donks
  • Silver Donks

New members start out in the Silver Donks tier. At the end of each quarter, the best-performing Silver Donks advance to the Golden Donks tier.
